Real Process, Technolgy and AI Solutions

Process, Technology and AI: Our Philosophy

Process Improvement, Technology and AI all work in combination. You should not automate poor processes. Technology solutions can exist without AI. AI can be a significant accelerator for process implementation. If you review these elements independently, you miss the opportunity for the most significant gains within your business. They need to be used in concert to improve business.

Our Three Phase Solution for AI Company Introduction

P1: Initial Testing and Education

Initial Testing and Education consists of working with senior management to gain a broad understanding of where AI can be most effective in your business

P2: Deep Training and Immersion

Deep Training and Immersion is a process of deeper assigned training for all team members, with the focus first on management. Immersion days and success stories review help embed AI usage within your company

P3: Specific High Value Problem Solutions

Once general usage is embedded within the business, the focus shifts to identifying and solving high-value repetitious processes that can yield real quality improvements and financial benefits

AI Application to Steel Scheduling for Manufacturing

To ease the burden of steel scheduling for Bailey International, we worked with management, supply chain and operators to understand the complexity, rules and methods needed to efficienty automate steel scheduling.

These rules were then embedded in Bailey’s AI environment (Claude Managed Agents). Through iterative testing, validation of the rules was accomplished and successfully implemented.

A function that took two full days of work per week is now accomplished in less than an hour. The supply chain team is now focused on the exceptions not the rote work.

Service is a hallmark of the customer approach at Bailey. We led implementation of a proof-of-concept design for an independent agent to act as a hydraulics expert. The expert agent helps solve the customers hydraulics problem and recommends appropriate solutions from the Bailey product offering.

The agent is deployed as an assistant for the customer service team, greatly expanding the availability of technical support throughout the company.

Performance was validated against real technical specialist in the company and found to be equivalent.

Engineering drawing review and advice was a very manual process between Engineering, Manufacturing and Supply Chain. We led the team development of an agent to perform this work, both early in the design cycle and at manufacturing release.

Internal engineering time averaged 6 hours per week and the internal review is now accomplished in 1 hour.

A two hour weekly process for 6 managers was cut to 30 minutes.
